Abingdon Food & Drink Festival

25th June 2016, 10am to 4pm


Nestling in the lovely water meadows of the River Thames in Abingdon, the third Abingdon Food and Drink Festival will showcase some of the best providers in Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties, offering fresh, organic and local produce to delight a variety of tastes!

Entry to the Festival is FREE. No ticket required, just turn up and enjoy!


Explore an amazing selection of foods from around the world. Hot foods including gourmet burgers, currys, hot dogs, pancakes, pies, pizza, steak & chips, street food, vegetarian dishes, waffles, to name but a few. We also have cheese producers, chilli products, chutneys, preserves, mustards, sauces, smoked meats, luxury ice cream and some amazing sweets!



There are plenty of drinks stalls to explore including real ale from the cask, bottled beer, cider, cocktails, mocktails, gin, liqueurs, pimento drink, wine, as well as teas, coffees and soft drinks


Chef Demonstrations

Alexis Thompson and Jenny Tschiesche will be running a series of free chef demonstrations throughout the day


Neff show kitchen

Neff will be bringing their state-of-the-art show kitchen to demonstrate the very latest kitchen technology.

There is also the opportunity to win a Neff Slide&Hide® oven as featured on the Great British Bake Off!


Live Music

Back by popular demand, folk singers Seth Bye and Katie Griffin and Witney-based duo Muddy Johnson will once again provide live entertainment at the Festival


Children's Activities

Children will be able to make their very own pizza with The Oxfordshire Pizza Company.

CHOCOLATEgenie are running chocolate workshops, suitable for all ages and abilities.

Marcella from Pottering About will be providing children with the opportunity to produce some colourful ceramic items.

Catering students from Fitzharry's school will be giving children the chance to decorate a cupcake using their own designs. All equipment is provided.


Bake It!

Students from Secondary Schools in Abingdon have been invited to take part in the “Bake It!” cake making competition. Come along to the Demonstration Marquee to see their entries and the results of the judging.
