Abingdon Food & Drink Festival 2020

We are excited to announce that the 7th annual Abingdon Food & Drink Festival will be a 2 day event, taking place on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June.

Come for one day or come for both. There will be loads to see and do, and plenty to keep the younger ones entertained!

Event Information

The Festival takes place at Rye Farm Meadow on the Culham Road. A beautiful location beside the river Thames, just a short walk from Abingdon town centre

1 day: £7 on the day, £6 in advance
2 day: £12 on the day, £10 in advance
Under 12s: Free
There is ample free on-site parking
The event takes place on a field with uneven ground. Wheelchair users may find it difficult to move around
Dogs are allowed in the Food Festival provided that they are on a lead

Stall Bookings

Bookings are open for traders from September 2019 until 1st June 2020

We have three categories of stalls:

Street Food/Drink
Food and drink for consumption on the day of the event
Food and drink for consumption at home
Products not related to food/drink, charity stalls, promotional stalls, informational stalls

Application Process

Stage 1 - Application

  1. Download the appropriate application form for your stall (see below)
    • Choose between Street Food & Drink, Artisan Market, Non-Food
      For children's activities, face painting, funfairs, bouncy castles, etc. please contact us
    • Choose whether you want to attend for one day or two days
    • There is currently a 15% discount for stalls attending both days
  2. Read our terms and conditions carefully
  3. Complete and return the application form

Notes: The standard pitch size is 3m x 3m and only stall space is provided, stallholders need to provide their own gazebo, tables, chairs and other equipment. Electricity outlets can be provided for a fee if booked in advance. Cold water is available on site.

Stage 2 - Assessment

We will review your application and notify you whether or not we can offer you a place. We restrict the number of stalls of a particular type to ensure that we have a balanced range of stalls at the event.

Stalls will be accepted according to their suitability and not on a first come, first served basis. Submission of an application form does not guarantee a place at the festival.

Stage 3 - Booking

Successful applicants send through supporting documentation along with payment to complete the booking.
Payment must be made in full within 14 days in order to secure the booking.

Street Food & Drink

Apply for a Street Food & Drink stall if you would like to sell food for consumption at the event, alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks for consumption at the event.

Artisan Market

Apply for an Artisan Market stall if you would like to sell food or drink for people to consume at home. This includes pies, jams, preserves, sauces, spices, oils, cakes, confectionery, bottled drinks.


Apply for this type of stall if you want to sell or display non-food/drink products, if you want to have a promotion stand to inform people about your products and services, or if you are a charity.

The Abingdon Food & Drink Festival is a charity event, organised and run by the Rotary Club of Abingdon Vesper.

Profits from this event will go to their Registered Charity The Rotary Club of Abingdon Vesper’s Charity, number 1178672, and to Oxfordshire Lowland Search and Rescue, who help vulnerable missing people in Oxfordshire.
